About Us

While our food celebrates the narratives of the Katong neighbourhood's colourful Peranakan heritage, our name pays homage to the animal that this district was named after - "katong" is the Malay name of an extinct species of turtle once endemic to Singapore waters.

 

Ambling Turtle exists to remind us all to slow down from the hustle and bustle of the urban life, smell the coffee and enjoy the little pauses along the way - perhaps with our delectable tart or two.
